Ski Silvretta Arena
The Silvretta Arena ski area is one of the largest connecting ski regions in Europe stretching from Austria into Switzerland. The skiing region goes up to 2,870 metres of altitude into the mountains of the Silvretta, so with 90% of pistes and lift facilities above 2000m this region is pretty much snow assured. The snow season runs from beginning of December until early May.
The resorts of Ischgl and Samnaun sit within the Silvretta Arena and offer world class skiing. 235km of pistes are on offer and two snow parks. The huge Snow Show Park near the Idalp is a top snowboard hot spot around the world. In fact Ischgl is viewed by many as one of the best ski resorts in the world, and not just for the skiing, its apres ski is also legendary! Galtur is also worth a visit, a pretty little village with 40km of ski area. Much quieter then Ischgl, a good place for beginners to practice on uncrowded slopes.

In addition to amazing skiing and boarding this ski region also offers floodlit toboganning, ice skating and curling.
