The Salzburger Sportwelt ski area is primarily tailored for experts and intermediate skiers with plenty of après ski activities.
Flying into the Salzburger Sportwelt ski area is easy with three airports located within a two hour drive and Salzburg Airport is only an hour away in decent driving weather. Visiting Salzburger Sportwelt
There is plenty to do on the slopes due to the fact that it is connected and accessible via one ski pass to over 293 ski runs that are linked via 270 ski lifts. Within the direct ski resort, you have immediate access to eight expert slopes, a total of 92 pistes for intermediate skiers, and one beginners slope. Snowboarders can also enjoy the four snowboard parks and often find the expert slopes to be a challenge. Most of the slopes are over 200m in altitude so most of the snow is natural although there are snow cannons if the need arises.
Since the ski resort is linked to so many other resorts there are plenty of après ski activities both near the Salzburger Sportwelt and in the surrounding area. Popular choices include restaurants, pubs, and discotheques which abound throughout the Salzburger Sportwelt region.
