Ski Dimension Austria
Part of the Austrian Tyrol, the Ski Dimension skiing region links together the ski resorts and ski areas in Serfaus, Fiss, and Ladis. The resorts may be little known outside Austria and Germany, but it's a ski area that provides something for all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
Although Ladis is a resort on the outskirts of Ski Dimension, the attractive village is easily connected via lift to the main ski areas. Like all three ski resorts in the area, it also prides itself on being child and family friendly, and shares a ski school with Fiss, its neighbouring resort.
Visiting Ski Dimension
Fiss itself also offers a large off-piste skiing area, blue and red runs near to the lifts, along with gentle slopes for beginners. Serfaus has a range of easy and expert runs, but is mainly aimed at intermediate skiers, who have 99km of runs to choose from. Along with downhill runs, Serfaus also offers 110km of marked cross country tracks, and a racing track for you and your friends to time yourself on. When the fun is finished for the day, take a trip on the underground railway which runs from the ski area to the town.
Ski Dimension is all about family friendly fun and this resort offers more than just a ski holiday. There is tubing (sliding downhill on an inner tube) for all ages, toboggan runs, sleigh rides, ice skating, and a peaceful/traditional après ski scene.
U.K flights can arrive at Innsbruck airport, from where private transfers can get you to Ski Dimension in less than an hour. The area is also reachable by train and bus. This is one area that ticks all the boxes for easy access, family friendly holidays, and great skiing. With the season traditionally running from early December to early April, you've plenty of time to visit this season.
