Ski Paradiski France
Ski Paradiski to get into one of the most exciting places to ski in the Alps. The two main resorts in the skiing region are Les Arcs and La Plagne, with the numerous villages in both resorts giving easy access to the world's third largest ski area.
Catering for just about every type of skier or boarder, the expanse of the ski area and access to the Aiguille Rouge glacier means there's some amazing terrain. Access is also relatively simple to any of the resorts.
Visiting Paradiski
The ski area of Paradiski ranges in altitude from 1800 to 3250 metres and with the slopes predominately north facing, is snow sure throughout the season. There are 425km of runs over 238 slopes, with the addition of 158 km of cross country skiing. There are easy green slopes located around all the villages and a large number of blue runs for skiers ready to progress.
In Paradiski, Les Arcs is known for its variety among intermediate skiers, while La Plagne is the place for a challenge. Both resorts also have a good number of black runs, including some glacier ones in La Plagne, and steep mogul fields in Les Arcs. There is a great deal of choice for snowboarders as well, with four parks catering for all levels and off piste areas for experts.
Off piste, the après ski varies from village to village, from lively, to small and atmospheric. Most hotels have excellent facilities and are ideally located for the slopes. Ski Bus and lift system links the resorts and villages within them together, so it's easy to explore and take part in other activities such as bobsleigh on an Olympic run, ice skating and snowshoeing.
In terms of transfers, this area does take longer to reach than some in France, although with so much variety, 3 to 4 hours travelling from Grenoble airport, is more than worth it. So why not ski Paradiski?
