It is linked to the rest of the Grand Massif ski area by a 12-person telecabine and then various chairlifts. Once you are in the heart of the Grand Massif ski area you'll find 78 lifts servicing over 265 km of piste, perfect for boarders and skiers of all levels.
With an excellent vertical descent, the slopes close to the resort (and down into it) are a little limited in number, but they do offer some great terrain. Morillon has seven of its own lifts and in the Grand Massif there's 2 snow parks, 3 half-pipes and over 265 km of piste

Apartments still have something of a negative connotation for many skiers and boarders, as they remember the concrete monstrosities that went up in the 1960's in many French purpose built resorts. But the new apartment complexes now being built couldn't be further from the truth. Many now have superb facilities that would match any hotel and resemble light airy loft developments.
In Morillon accommodation is of a high standard, this is a beautiful resort so do check out the apartments. It is only 50m from the nearest ski lift and is great for families. The mini market, ski school meeting point, ski hire shop are all within a short walking distance.
Are Apartments Really Such a Good Idea?
We think you should definitely not discount apartments. Now they often have great facilities like swimming pools and spas and many are spacious with great ski in ski out convenience. Gone are the high rises, now these developments are often only 3 or 4 storeys high and offer real luxury. Apartments also often work out slightly cheaper than a chalet, so all in all good news.
