Tulfes

Tulfes is a pretty Austrian holiday resort, the skiing here isn't extensive but you can easily access other ski areas within the Stubai Superski area.

Where?

Tulfes is located at the foot of the 2,677m high Glungezer mountain, only 12km from Innsbruck. The municipal territory is made up of the villages of Tulfes, Tulferberg, Gasteig and Volderwald. The Glungezer mountain offers 22km of slopes which includes the longest downhill run in the Tirol. The nearest airport is Innsbruck.

On the slopes

The 10 slopes here are mostly wide easy slopes that are best suited to beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders. We would advise that you buy an area pass which will allow you to travel around the ski area. The skiing and boarding is easy but will suit those starting out or families with young children. The local skiing will not suit anyone more experienced but if you buy the area ski pass you will be able to ski and board other areas around Innsbruck.Ski tours are also very popular here
