You will certainly spend less here. So if you are fed up being fleeced for a pint in resorts in France or Switzerland then do check Spain out. You will also find it easy to get to and there are numerous cheap flight airlines that can get you there. Finally, many resorts are near great Spanish cities so you can ski and also do some sightseeing at the same time.
Some of the best known resorts in Spain include Formigal, Panrticosa and Cerler. You will find these in the Aragonese Pyrenees. You can also access the Andorran Pyrenees and get to Pal and Arinsal.
The Best Airports in Spain for Skiing
We have focused on three main airports for skiing in Spain, these include Zaragoza, Granada and Barcelona airports. Barcelona is a good choice as you can combine your skiing with a visit to this amazing city. From Barcelona airport you can be in La Mollina and Masella ski resorts in just under 2 hours.
Barcelona is also a good airport to access the Andorran resorts of Pas de la Casa and Arinsal.
Head to Zaragoza airport to access the Spanish ski resorts of Panticosa, Formigal and Candanchu. All three resorts are only 2.5 hours away from the airport.
