Where?
Fügen is a hillside village which sits at the entrance to the Ziller valley. It has good rail and road links to other resorts in the Super Zillertal ski pass. Innsbruck airport is one and a half hours away and Salzburg is 3 hours away.

On the slopes
Fügen is linked with Spieljoch and is good for families and intermediates. Experts would need to get out into the rest of the Zillertal Superski area as there is little here that will really test them. The off piste and snowpark is good as are the ski schools. Children will love the clown who skies around the resort of Spieljoch!

Things are pretty quiet here, so don't come expecting a wild time! There is a good snow bar called Onkeljoch that is worth a visit. There is also ice skating, snowshoeing, sleigh rides and a large indoor pool and sauna for those who want to take it more easy.
