Ski & Snowboard Events

Not all ski or snowboard events are equal! Trust us, we've been to a lot. But there's quite a few that can be useful if you need to find out more, meet people or just get some inspiration. So read on to get started.

For the keen skier and boarder there are a number of events throughout the year that will help to give you your fix of skiing and boarding for when you are away from the slopes. Many of these events are held around the country. They include events like Slide2Sochi which is on from the 15th September - 16th February 2014.

These events will be held at indoor ski slopes around the country and will involve demonstrations, competitions and taster sessions. You will be able to meet members of the British ski and snowboard teams and get inspired!

Recent 2013 Events

In October there's the Indoor British Championships which will be held on the 19th October at Chill Factore in Manchester. For those of you who love film there's the London Freeski Film festival on the 24th October at the Walkabout in Shepherds Bush. And finally there's the well known Ski and Snowboard Shows held in Manchester (25th-27th October) and London Earls Court (30th October -3rd November).

Whether you are looking for some inspiration for your next ski holiday, want to see all the latest gear and technology, or you simply want to get some unique ski ambience before you hit the slopes check out one or both shows for a great day out!

Events in 2014

As with all annual events, there's a shift of dates and maybe even venues, but you just know they are out there and need to be put in the calendar. The biggest event of an exhibition nature is the, now, Daily Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show. Come and see what's out there and meet with companies and resorts eager to entice you to visit.
