Taos Ski Valley

Taos Ski Valley was one of the last ski areas to ban snowboarding, however the ban has since been lifted. It has a varied and difficult terrain, located on the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, with 1,300 acres. Taos offers steep chutes, cliffs, tree skiing and steep drop-offs. Taos averages 305 inches of annual snowfall and 300+ days of sunshine.

Mount Bachelor

Located in a volcanic peak in the eastern part of the Cascades mountain range, Mount Bachelor, is known for the high quality of its snow and its location in a dry area east of Oregon. It has 3,683 acres of skiable terrain, with a vertical drop of 3,365 feet and surrounded by trees.

Mount Bachelor ski area operates a chairlift during the summer as well as during the ski season (weather permitting). The resort is actually one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest. More

Kirkwood Mountain Resort is a popular ski resort located in California, south of Lake Tahoe. This resort can be used both in winter and in summer with activities ranging from skiing and snowboarding to hiking or mountain biking.

Stowe Ski Resort

Stowe Mountain Resort is a ski resort near the town of Stowe in northern Vermont, comprising two separate mountains: Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak. The vertical drop of Mount Mansfield from 2360 feet (720 m) is the fifth largest in New England and the fourth largest in Vermont.

Grand Targhee Resort

Grand Targhee Resort is a ski resort located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, north of Jackson, Wyoming. The resort has lodgings, spas, shops and conference rooms. The majority of the ski slopes are located on the west side of the famous Teton Range.

The ski resort has three quad-chairs ( two are high-speed detachable), one double chair, and one conveyor. The greatest vertical drop is 2419 feet (737 m). It is rated as 85% Difficult and 15% Advanced in skiing.

Bridger Bowl

Bridger Bowl is a ski resort located near Bozeman, Montana. It is a nonprofit ski area  and provides a great spot for budget skiing. Above all, it lacks the crowds of skiers that can be found in other places nearby.
Bridger Bowl is renowned for its extreme inbounds terrain and its cold, super dry snow.
