The powder here is light and fluffy, 30 foot of snowfall each year and is seen throughout the season - perfect!

Lifts are old and slow and can get closed easily due to high winds - which halves the runs you can do
Beginners can find the runs a little steep and intimidating

On the slopes

Ski Castle Mountain and have 78 pistes that cover over 300 acres of groomed runs and deep powder. Beginners have about 10% of the slopes, Intermediates 40% and Advanced amost 50%, an unusually high percentage. The summit is at 2273m, which ensures good snow, and there's a total vertical drop of 863m. Boarders will find a terrain Park, a natural half pipes, and plenty of fall line skiing and riding. Skiing and snowboarding in Canada is perfect if you want that powder! Although not a massive amount of off-piste areas.
