How Can I Get There?

Edinburgh Airport is Scotlands capital airport situated only 8 miles west of the city centre. 9 million passengers a year use the airport and these numbers will surely grow with future expansion plans. In 2013 the airport announced a £25m expansion programme giving passengers more space and a state of the art security area.

What Parking Is Offered?

There are a number of car parking options open to you at Edinburgh Airport. For long stay car parking the Long Stay car park is situated within the airport boundary, a courtesy coach service operates from the car park to the terminal and takes about 5 minutes.

Edinburgh airport also offers what it calls 'terminal surface parking'; a covered multi -storey car park, a surface parking area and fast track parking bays. This option is good for travellers who want to park for a few hours or who are going on short trips.

There is also airport valet parking on offer, whereby you simply turn up, your car is parked for you and returned to you when you arrive back at the airport. There is also a drop off parking zone, where you pay £1 which gives you 10 minutes.

From Edinburgh airport you can fly to a wide range of destinations including Basel, Chambery, Geneva, Lyon and Munich. Airlines which operate out of Edinburgh Airport include easyjet, Flybe, British Airways and Virgin.
