Why Choose the AA?

The AA Ski travel insurance policy extend coverage to all winter sports outside of skiing including snowboarding and areas that are used for recreational skiing such as marked pistes, runs, and off-piste areas that are recognized for use with an experience trained guide. Reckless behaviour or injuries that occur outside of clearly marked piste boundaries are not covered.

The insurance policies cover medical expenses that accumulate up to £10,000,000 including emergency services such as helicopter services if an incident occurs on the slopes and requires such access.

What Else is Included?

Also included in the purchase of a standard policy is reimbursement of up to £200 per person if you arrive at the ski resort and find that the pistes are closed for weather reasons or other reasons that are outside of your control.

Trip cancellation is also covered along with coverage for skiing if you are primarily on a business trip and simply want to engage in skiing on the side.

In the case that you need to cancel the trip for an accepted reason as defined by the travel insurance policy you can also receive full financial failure holiday protection as part of the policy.

Ski equipment that is damaged, lost, or stolen is also covered up to £500 per person including hired equipment if an incident occurs on the slope. You can also use this allowance to cover hired equipment if you own personal equipment is damaged while you are on holiday.
