Ski Holidays in Norway
Norway has a reputation for being expensive and all about cross country. But it is worth looking at again. Prices have come down and there are some great resorts here with amazing pistes for all levels of skiers and boarders. Ski schools here are also excellent and you wont find crowded pistes and lift queues, they simply don't exist.
Why Ski in Norway?
If you have skied some of the major ski resorts in Europe you will know how commercialised and busy many of them have become. Sometimes it can feel like you are fighting for space on the slopes and queuing for ages to get onto ski lifts with unfriendly, morose lift operators. If this is how you feel, try Norway. Here you will find uncrowded, quiet slopes and a beautiful wilderness feel to the scenery.
Norway will also offer you virtually guaranteed snow and superb cross country. The ski schools are excellent and the resorts are very service minded with English also being very widely spoken. Overall it feels very unspoilt and also very orientated towards the needs of the family.
