Ski Holidays in Andorra

Andorra has long had a reputation for being a great place to ski or board - particularly if you are looking for a budget ski holiday! But is it more than just a cheap destination for a bunch of teenagers looking to take advantage of the duty free shopping?
Why Ski in Andorra?
What's not to like? The Principality of Andorra offers skiers and boarders some good snow; lots of sunny days; a great mix of Spanish and French culture; and ski areas that are well connected to maximise your piste-time! The Pyrenees offer some great high altitude skiing and boarding and are increasingly popular.
Our ski partners can offer you all inclusive package holidays or why not organise things yourself? With great deals on flights and accommodation throughout the season, you can choose from hotels or apartments - there's even a few chalets too!

Which Ski Resort?
There's a number of ski resorts that offer some different options depending on what you want. From a family experience in Arinsal through to the more lively Pas de la Casa with some great bars. Above all, if you are a beginner or intermediate skier or boarder, the slopes are perfect for you to improve your technique. That's not to say there's nothing for advanced and expert skiers, in fact check out what's in Grau Roig and Soldeu for starters.
The only downside, in some ways, is the lack of alpine charm. Andorra offers purpose-built ski resorts on the whole and a lot of the accommodation is a bit basic. But as a place to cut your teeth or just to get a budget ski holiday, then it's hard to beat!
Is it Right For You?
The million dollar (or pound) question. if you like luxurious chalets with a view of the Alps and a traditional Swiss Alpine Village to wander around in, then probably not. If you like to ski a lot, play hard in the evening and keep some money in your pocket, then yes it's worth a go in one of the larger resorts for sure.
