Ski Chalets in Andorra
© Andorra Tourism
Andorra has established itself as a great destination for the budget conscious skier and boarder. It's popular with families and also young people due to the lively nightlife and its duty free status. Here you will find a good choice of hotels, apartments and chalets. Self catered chalets are harder to find but an added bonus is that in much of the accommodation here children go free.
How To Find a Ski Chalet In Andorra
If you're coming to Andorra for your ski holiday and want to find a chalet, as you would in France, then you may be disappointed. Most visitors to Canillo, Arinsal or Soldeu choose from the great selection of hotels. That's not to say there aren't any chalets, it's just that the ones we've found are quite big and feel more like hotels than the cosy and snug slope side chalet you may be looking for.
If you find one, then remember to think about whether you want a chef on-hand or are happy to cook yourselves - remember this is a holiday right!
What Other Accommodation Options are There?
The most popular is undoubtedly hotels. With a range of budget through to luxury hotels, chain-owned to smaller private hotels, you have a great choice if you're willing to do the research. You can find 5 star luxury hotels in Canillo and Andorra La Vella with 4 star ones in all key ski resorts.
Why not think about ski apartments? You get the privacy of a chalet, often the convenience of a central location and above all, more for your money when compared to a hotel! There are a number of new apartment blocks in Arinsal, Andorra La Vella, Pas de la Casa and Soldeu along with smaller more intimate apartments. You choose!
