WE LIKE

  • Good snow gauranteed with long snow season until May. Great choice of non ski activities including ice fishing and husky sleigh rides.
  • 5 snowparks, empty slopes and virtually no lift queues. Good variety of terrain.
  • Particularly well set up for families and children. Cross country skiers will love it here, all 220km! Night time cross country is also available.

WE DON'T LIKE

  • Runs are not exceptionally long, there are some steeps but they may not satisfy the expert skier for a two week holiday
  • Not the best nightlife - but adequate when this is predominantly a family resort
  • Two ski areas are situated on either side of the Ustedalsfjord.
